Consistency

Soup is one of those dishes that lives or dies by its texture. If it doesn’t have the right consistency, the entire bowl just falls flat. Think of a classic butternut soup: it is comforting precisely because it is thick, rich, and velvety. If you took those exact same ingredients but watered them down until the soup was as thin as tap water, it would be incredibly disappointing.

Life operates on the exact same principle. Consistency is what holds everything together. It is the steady, daily practice of showing up that creates something substantial out of our raw ingredients. Without consistency in our habits, our passions, or our goals, we dilute our efforts and struggle to reach our full potential. Just like a good recipe requires time to simmer and thicken, building a fulfilling life requires the unwavering commitment of showing up every single day.
